Al-Ghashiyah
The Overwhelming
1 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 001
هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡغَٰشِيَةِ
T’est-il parvenu le récit de l’enveloppante ? [1054]
[1054] L’enveloppante: il s’agit du Jour de la Résurrection qui couvre toute chose.
2 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 002
وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ
Ce jour-là, il y aura des visages humiliés,
3 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 003
عَامِلَةٞ نَّاصِبَةٞ
préoccupés, harassés.
4 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 004
تَصۡلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةٗ
Ils brûleront dans un Feu ardent,
5 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 005
تُسۡقَىٰ مِنۡ عَيۡنٍ ءَانِيَةٖ
et seront abreuvés d’une source bouillante.
6 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 006
لَّيۡسَ لَهُمۡ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٖ
Il n’y aura pour eux d’autre nourriture que des plantes épineuses [Dharî'],
7 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 007
لَّا يُسۡمِنُ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِن جُوعٖ
qui n’engraisse, ni n’apaise la faim.
8 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 008
وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاعِمَةٞ
Ce jour-là, il y aura des visages épanouis,
9 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 009
لِّسَعۡيِهَا رَاضِيَةٞ
contents de leurs efforts,
10 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 010
فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖ
dans un haut Jardin,
11 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 011
لَّا تَسۡمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةٗ
où ils n’entendent aucune futilité.
12 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 012
فِيهَا عَيۡنٞ جَارِيَةٞ
Là, il y aura une source coulante.
13 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 013
فِيهَا سُرُرٞ مَّرۡفُوعَةٞ
Là, des divans élevés.
14 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 014
وَأَكۡوَابٞ مَّوۡضُوعَةٞ
et des coupes posées.
15 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 015
وَنَمَارِقُ مَصۡفُوفَةٞ
et des coussins rangés.
16 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 016
وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبۡثُوثَةٌ
et des tapis étalés.
17 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 017
أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِبِلِ كَيۡفَ خُلِقَتۡ
Ne considèrent-ils donc pas les chameaux, comment ils ont été créés,
18 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 018
وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ رُفِعَتۡ
et le ciel comment il est élevé,
19 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 019
وَإِلَى ٱلۡجِبَالِ كَيۡفَ نُصِبَتۡ
et les montagnes comment elles sont dressées.
20 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 020
وَإِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَيۡفَ سُطِحَتۡ
et la terre comment elle est nivelée ?
21 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 021
فَذَكِّرۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٞ
Eh bien, rappelle ! Tu n’es qu’un rappeleur,
22 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 022
لَّسۡتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِمُصَيۡطِرٍ
et tu n’es pas un dominateur sur eux.
23 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 023
إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
Sauf celui qui tourne le dos et ne croit pas,
24 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 024
فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرَ
alors Allah le châtiera du plus grand châtiment.
25 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 025
إِنَّ إِلَيۡنَآ إِيَابَهُمۡ
Vers Nous est leur retour.
26 - Al-Ghashiyah (The Overwhelming) - 026
