According to the account, the altered copies of the Torah and Bible were accepted without examination, while the Muslim scribes carefully reviewed the copies of the Qur’an, discovered the additions and omissions, and rejected them.

This experience led him to believe that the Qur’an was divinely preserved and became the reason for his acceptance of Islam.
